Doris L. Higby, born February 11, 1924 in Englewood, Colorado to Frank and Velma Beyer, passed away on November 26, 2015 in Denver, Colorado. Doris is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Frank, Jr. and son, Donald. She is survived by her children, Doris (Charles), William (Barbara), Stanley, and Ronald; sisters, Ida May, Shirley Frances and Velma Florine; 6 grandsons, 2 granddaughters, 5 step-grandsons, 3 step-granddaughters and 3 great-granddaughters.
Doris was a member of Order of The Eastern Star for over 50 years. She was amazing at crocheting, knitting and ceramics. She was an award winning ballroom dancer and build an enclosure for her orchids, which she loved to grow. Doris will be greatly missed by her family, The Order of The Eastern Star, and friends.
