He leaves his wife of 64 years JoAnn M. Bucko, Son’s Timothy E Bucko, Robert A. Bucko, David J. Bucko, Daughter In-Law Lori Sewill, Sister Eleanor “Dolly” Shuba, 6 Grandchildren and a few close friends.
Born and raised in Pittsburg PA, he graduated from Plum High School in 1951. He attended college at Carnegie Technical Institute studying Chemical Engineering before joining the US Air Force as an Air Cadet in 1954. He served 20 years honorable years of service as an Air Force aviator before retiring in 1975 and becoming a small business hotel/motel owner.
Dad had a passion for life and learning and a great sense of humor. He was a faithful and dedicated husband and Father. He enjoyed home projects and travel, loved animals and gardening. He will be greatly missing by family and friends.
The funeral service will be held on April 28th at 11:00 at Olinger Hampden Funeral Home with a final burial at Fort Logan National Cemetery to take place at a later date.
