My love and thoughts go out to all of Eric's family and friends. We lost a beautifully positive light- he was someone who made everyone he met feel as if they were the most important person in the world. I will miss you, my old friend.

I had the blessing of working alongside Eric at Purity Organic. He was always friendly, calm, level headed, and a leader and role model that others looked up to. Even when times were stressful, Eric stayed collected and led the way for us.

He loved his daughter dearly and always talked about her athletic involvement. He loved his job but always told me that if there were one thing he could change about it, it would be to travel less so he could be with his daughter more, and to be at all her games.

One memory that stands out is when we went out to a company dinner in San Francisco. As we sat down and placed our orders, we received an abrupt call from the VP of Sales that we would not be allowed to eat at Boudin Bakery due to it being out of budget. Employees were upset, some got up and left, others were even in tears. But I’ll never forget during that awkward moment, Eric took charge and somehow managed to calm everyone down, found a different place for us to eat , and cheered everyone up in the process. He just had that calming energy to him that everything was going to be alright, even when others around him were frazzled.

He was one of my favorite people to work with and will be dearly missed. My sincere condolences to his family—Eric was a special man and his memory will be a blessing.
