Eva Moore

Daughter, Sister, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother

Born December 5, 1918, Petersburg, NE, passed away April 5, 2012, in Brighton, CO. Being 1 of 9 children, she is survived by one sister, Betty Lou Manzel of NE., and two brothers, Hank Bode of Denver, and Eugene Bode of Penrose. Preceded in death by her brothers: Orlandes, Ewald; sisters: Bernadetta, Bernetha, and Donna, and also preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Moore, in 1986.

She is also survived by her son, Ed Moore, and his family: wife: Randi, daughter: Samantha, son: Travis; and two great-grandchildren: Ashliee and Gunner Treblik.

You slipped away before we could see you again, we didn’t have a chance to talk one last time. We had 93 wonderful years to be with you, all you’re nurturing and caring, the offer to always have something to eat when we came to visit, and the help you would always give to anyone who asked.

You have touched so many people and gave them a smile. The Meals on Wheels people who delivered your lunch, Rhonda said you knew her employees better than she does and you would always ask about how they were as well as their families. They loved stopping at your house to visit and they deemed you their favorite stop.

We will miss your smile, your inability to keep a secret, and the never ending complaining about those darn leaves! They sure drove you crazy!

The memories and stories we share bring nothing but smiles.

We will miss you greatly and we were blessed to have so many good times with you. Look down over us and keep us all safe, and know that you are always in our hearts.
