Evelyn Delores Wilson

Evelyn Delores Wilson, 75, of Denver, passed away on August 24th. Evelyn was born in Fort Worth, Texas to Andrew Jackson and Inez Ferrin Smith Madkin. Evelyn was the eldest of 3 children born to Andrew and Inez. She met and married George Leslie Riley in 1960. Together they were blessed with 4 children, Carmen, Carla, Kenneth and Tracey.

Evelyn and George divorced, and she later married Billy Burke Wilson, who helped in raising the children. They were married for 24 years. Evelyn worked for Mountain Bell, now known as Century Link, for over 30 years.

Evelyn joins her parents, and her brother Donald, in eternal glory. She will be greatly missed by her children, Carmen, Carla, Kenneth (Kay), and Tracey; 10 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; sister, Carolyn; colleagues, church family, and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 5th at 10AM at Restoration Christian Fellowship in Aurora, Colorado. Evelyn will be laid to rest at Fairmount Cemetery in Denver, Colorado.
