She was born to the late Kuk Son and Sun Pun Pang, March 1, 1956, in Seoul, South Korea. Gin grew up and was educated in Incheon, South Korea. She and her immediate family immigrated to the U.S. in 1977 to eventually settle in Denver, CO.
Gin is survived by her husband, Barry Haug; daughter, Gina Nussbaumer; and son James Haug. She is also survived by her 4 grandchildren: Hannah, Madelyn, Rowen, and Charlotte.
Gin was a beloved and devoted wife, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend. It is truly amazing how rich her life was, the incredible impact she left on those around her, and how successful she was in God’s eyes despite her illness. She was a prayer warrior and her generosity was unmatched. She was immensely proud of her family, and she leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories. As her health declined, she continued to be a faithful follower of Christ, and we can rest assured that her passing is not a period, but rather a comma in the sentence of her life.
Celebration of Life ceremony will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Olinger Hampden Mortuary & Cemetery. In lieu of sending flowers, the family requests that people make donations in support of the Scleroderma Research Foundation. https://m.facebook.com/SRFcure/
