

She met her husband, Fred Johncox, in Washington DC on 7/11/45 at Glen Echo Amusement Park, in the beautiful ballroom, and it was a night to remember for both of them.
Fred and Gladys were married on April 7, 1946 and had two sons, William (1951) and David (1953).
Gladys, Fred and the boys lived in Virginia, Maryland, and after Fred retired, Gladys and Fred moved to Florida. Both sons moved out west to Utah and Colorado, and not long after Gladys and Fred moved to Arizona to be closer to their boys, their spouses and grandchildren.
Gladys spent over 30 years at their home in Arizona, and after Fred passed in 2001, she stayed in her home until 2013. The last 4 years of her life she spent in Colorado, surrounded by her family, and lived at St. Andrew’s Village, a beautiful seniors center.
She peacefully passed on in the morning of December 27, 2017.
Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Johncox in 2001, and is survived by her two sons, William (Kristin) and David (Roxi), 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
