

In Loving Memory of Gregory Louis LaBadie, age 65, of Aurora, CO, who peacefully passed away on May 14, 2024, at the Medical Center of Aurora in Aurora, CO. He was born on July 3, 1958, to parents Harry Jess LaBadie and Jo Ann (Worcester) LaBadie in Denver, CO.
Greg will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Tia Lily LaBadie, with whom he shared many beautiful moments and cherished memories. Their bond was a testament to love, devotion, and companionship. He was a devoted father to five children, Charlie, Samuel, Amanda, Tiana and Laura, and loving grandfather to Xavier.
Throughout his life, Greg was known for his kind heart, generous spirit, and unwavering integrity. He approached every day with a contagious enthusiasm and a genuine desire to make the world a better place. His positive impact touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Professionally, Greg excelled at his job at American Furniture Warehouse as a sales consultant, earning the respect and admiration of his colleagues and peers. Most of all he valued the relationships and friendships he created with his customers, many of whom continued to seek him out throughout his career. His loyalty and hard work left a lasting mark on the community he served.
In addition to his professional pursuits, Greg found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He enjoyed being outdoors, whether it be fishing, camping or grilling. Greg found joy and fulfillment in sharing his interests with family and friends. He truly loved to help people. During his years of retirement, he found the most joy in taking care of his grandson and spending time with family. He also took great pride in the various projects he accomplished or had in the works. Greg’s zest for life was evident to all who crossed his path.
Greg was preceded in death by his parents Jess and Jo Ann, brother Harry, and sister Cheryl. He is survived by his wife Tia, 5 children Charlie, Samuel, Amanda, Tiana, and Laura, and 1 grandson Xavier and 2 sisters Cindy(Dan) and Missy(Eric).
Greg's passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who loved him, but his memory will live on in the countless ways that he has touched our lives. His legacy of love, kindness, and compassion will continue to inspire and uplift those who carry his spirit forward. He will be dearly missed by all those he has touched.
A visitation for Greg will be held Thursday, May 23, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Olinger Hampden Mortuary 8600 East Hampden Ave, Denver, CO 80231. A Mass of Christian Burial will occur Friday, May 24, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 13120 E. Kentucky Ave., Aurora, CO 80012. Following the Mass a Graveside service will be held at Olinger Eastlawn Memorial Gardens, 19600 E. Smith Rd., Aurora, CO 80011. A reception will follow the graveside service.
In lieu of flowers donations in Greg’s name can be offered to St. Jude’s Hospital (https://www.stjude.org) will be greatly appreciated.
