

Hanna “Nancy” Anderson was born March 14, 1915 to Erik and Teckla Bowman in Kewanee, Illinois. She graduated from Kewanee High School and worked in the Walworth office there in Kewanee until her marriage to Albin Anderson on December 6, 1946. They moved to Morrison, Illinois where Albin worked for a plumbing company. Hanna and Albin were active members of the Evangelical Free Church in Clinton, Iowa where Hanna played the piano for the choir and was also in charge of all the music programs at the church. Hanna was a stay at home “Mom”, and loved to cook and bake and entertain family and friends with wonderful home cooked meals.
Survivors include her son, Don and daughter, Nancy, both of Centennial, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers and sisters-in-laws.
Her funeral service will be held on Friday, May 3, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Olinger Hampden Mortuary & Cemetery, 8600 E. Hampden Avenue in Denver, Colorado. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Denver Rescue Mission, 3501 East 46th Avenue, Denver, CO 80216 or Pacific Garden Mission, 1458 South Canal, Chicago, IL 60607-9835.
