Irene S. Wahl

Irene S. Wahl was born June 7, 1929 in Lidgerwood, North Dakota, the daughter of Gustav and Rose Sestak. She attended school in rural Lidgerwood through the 8th grade. She was a member of University Hills Lutheran Church in Denver, Colorado. She is survived by son, Randy (Rhoda) Wahl of Milford, NE; daughter, Joyce Greenhouse of Denver, CO; grandchildren, Corey (Stephanie) Wahl, Jennifer (Ryan) Martino, Emily Wahl, Sharie (Blaine) Heth; Matthew Greenhouse, April Greenhouse, Joshua Olson, Jared Olson; great grandchildren, Quentin, Natasha, Hunter, Morgan, Alina, Kara; her brother, Joseph Sestak; and sister, Renata Rubey; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton; parents, Rose and Gustav; three sisters, Maria, Anna and Mildred; and one brother, Gust.

Visitation will be held Sunday, November 10 from 3:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. at Olinger Hampden Mortuary, 8600 E. Hampden Ave. in Denver. Her funeral service will be Monday, November 11 at 10:30 a.m. at University Hills Lutheran Church, 4949 E. Eastman Ave. in Denver. Interment will follow at Olinger Hampden Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Irene's honor to The Denver Hospice www.thedenverhospice.org.
