Jane L. Sale

Jane L. Sale 74, passed away in her sleep December 22, 2010. Jane was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on October 8, 1936 to Stephen and Lillian Rogers. She was raised on a farm in Eastern Oklahoma. Jane married Lloyd Sale, December 1953. She had 3 beautiful children; Steve, Melinda and Paula, Lloyd and Jane divorced in 1966. Steve and Melinda preceded her in death. Jane lost her daughter Melinda in 1976 shortly after she gave birth to Danielle Michelle Cunningham. Danielle is now 34 and has 2 children of her own. She lost her son Steve in 1998. Jane was a secretary most of her life. She received many awards and certificates for her outstanding achievements as a secretary. She worked for the government for 15 years before her retirement in 2000. Jane loved taking care of other people and making sure they were O.K. She also loved telling stories about her kids and grand kids. She is survived by her daughter Paula (David) Sarno of Arvada, CO, son-in-law Kim Cunningham of Grand Junction, CO. Four grandchildren; Danielle, Rachel, David, Katlyn and four great grandchildren. Brother Mike (Lynda) Rogers of Shattack, Oklahoma. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Jane told her daughter Paula that the most wonderful part of being retired was taking care of the beautiful Miss Rachel when she was a baby. Take care of Melinda and Steve while you are in Heaven. We will miss you and goodbye. We love you. Celebration of Jane's life will be Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at 10am, Olinger Hampden Chapel 8600 East Hampden Ave.
