My Mom; what can I say except that I miss her so much! I am going to miss talking to her everyday and her listening to me (no matter what; as a Mom would); whether it was about my day or just life in general. I will also miss us planting flowers together next year as we have done for years; also the baking of the Christmas goodies.  I know I have lots of great memories; especially the fun summer vacation trips we did each year  starting in my young childhood to my late teen years. Plus a wonderful trip to Hawaii with all of the Family in 1999. I'm so glad I was able to have one last GREAT trip with her, my Dad and my sister this past October when we went to Las Vegas; we had a wonderful time!  I Love you MOM; Rest in Peace

To te Hupfer Family,

I just to say how sorry I am for the loss of Jeanette. It has been over 25 years since I last saw her.

Jeanette was my supervisor at Fashion Bar.  I always loved her laugh.  I remember the days it snowed and she was all bundled up because she took the bus.

I also remember Dan always entering all this contests and winning, one year I remember they won tickets to the Super Bowel.  I also remember that you were season ticket holders for the Broncos.

I can trutfully say to this date , in my years of working, Jeanette was the best supervisor I ever had.

I do think of her often. I know that she will be missed and that I had the pleasure of knowing her.

I am so sorry for your loss, my prayers are with you all.

I have been fortunate to have Grandma and Grandpa to witness and support my accomplishments and milestones throughout my life.

Before Grandma’s passing I had the privilege of sharing my most recent accomplishment – winning two 2011 Hermes Creative Awards for my graphic design work, and a future milestone – my first-ever solo flute recital this fall.

Engaged in my design pieces and excitement, Grandma expressed pride and looked forward to seeing my Hermes awards. The awards arrived during her last days of life and sadly I was unable to show them to her. The night before Grandma died a photo was taken of Grandpa, who was also very proud, and I with my awards. It was a bittersweet moment sharing my accomplishment that night with Grandpa but not Grandma and Grandpa together. But I know Grandma was happy for me.

Grandma had on a big smile when I talked to her about my flute recital plans, ideas about what I will perform and how I will design the invitation. Then she said “I’m glad you’re finally having a recital after all these years. We’ll be there. And maybe you could play more for us.” My recital will also be a bittersweet moment as I know she would have enjoyed hearing me play.

Of the many memories I have of Grandma, my final memories of her come from July 4 this summer, the last time I saw her. She and I talked for a while. A comforting memory, it was nice to have this time with Grandma. A fun memory from the same day involved Grandma, Dawn and Danette looking back on a favorite memory from when I was a little girl. While talking about this memory Grandma burst out laughing when I repeated the line I said as a kid: “WE NEED MORE CHAIRS!!!” 

I am fortunate to have known Grandma for as long as I did and will keep her in my thoughts.

Uncle Bud, Doug, Diane, Danette and Dawn - Aunt Jeanette had the best laugh.  The look she had when something either struck her has funny or totally absurd was priceless.    I had as much fun watching her as actually watching what was making her give the look.    There was never anything phony about Aunt Jeanette - I always admired that.    I loved talking with her - and I really loved her sense of humor.     I will miss her - all of you have been in my thoughts - I love you all.    Laurie

Uncle Bud and my cousins, I will miss my Aunt Jeanette's smile and laugh and her wonderful way of making us all laugh. I have fond memories sitting next to her and Bud at the Bronco games!- John

Dan and Family:  We will miss our fun loving sister-in-law - just as you will miss your wife and mother.  She was always the life of the party at every family get together.  We have many great memories of her.
