He was born in St. Paul, Minnesota to George and Lucille Loveridge. His father served in the armed forces during WWII and preceded him in death when Jerry was still a toddler. He grew up to know Robert Little as his father. His mother, Lucille and father, Robert also precede him in death. He was raised with his siblings, Gary Little and Shelley McCombe, who survive him.
Jerry attended a military school and was voted best looking 2 years in a row by his classmates. He went to the University of Minnesota to study one of his passions, theater and acting. He certainly had the looks for it.
Life lead Jerry to being a salesman for a trucking company. He had an uncanny ability to make people laugh. He was known as the life of the party. He loved socializing with his many friends and making sure they were laughing.
Jerry loved fishing. His favorite place to fish was The Little Larimie River in Larimie, Wyoming. If he couldn’t make it that far out of town, he would also go to Eleven Mile Reservoir here in Colorado. Jerry also enjoyed small game hunting, sailing and flying. He genuinely liked the outdoors. He was adventurous, and had even been sky diving.
His daughter, Lisa Anderson, of Colorado; step-son, Troy Hurd, of Wisconsin; grandsons, Gage Anderson and Tevin Anderson, of Colorado; brother, Gary Little of Texas and sister, Shelley McCombe of Michigan remain to treasure his memory. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
Thanks to Jerry’s bright spirit and life of the party attitude, he would be pleased to hear that his Celebration Gathering will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at 1PM at the gathering space at Olinger Hampden Mortuary. During this time you can socialize with his family, share your memories, enjoy a snack and be together.
Arrangements under the direction of Olinger Hampden Mortuary & Cemetery, Denver, CO.
