Jesse was born in Paris, Illinois. He and his wife, Alma, built their home in Parker, Colorado in 1964 and raised their three children Debbie, Becki, and Jesse Richard Jr. He was a mechanic by trade and there wasn't an engine he couldn't get running. He enjoyed John Wayne movies and warm weather. He would often travel to Illinois when he still had family and friends alive, then later he would travel to Texas to spend the winters in warmer weather. He is survived by his wife and three children, four grandchildren and two great granddaughters. A memorial gathering will be held at Olinger Hampden Mortuary at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, September 26, 2012.
