Jesse was preceded in death by his father Jesse T. Stacks Jr and mother Charlotte Boyles Stacks.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Phyllis Ann Stacks, son Kenneth Stacks and his daughter Heather, son Kristopher Ryan Stacks, wife Tiffany and daughter Winter, son Bryan Stacks, wife Andrea and their sons Ayvan and Ian, and Daughter Diana and her children Ashlynn, Joshua, David and TJ and his wife Jenna and their children (Jesse’s only Great Grandchildren) Audri and Paxon Padgett. As well as his sister Patricia Stonebraker.
Jesse’s loved ones and friends will remember him for his kind and generous heart, his quick wit and thoughtful and playful ways. He will also be remembered with fondness for his love for music, radios, model trains and his collection of all things Ham Radio.
His coworkers will remember him for his hard work and dedication, whether at his civilian job working for the State of Colorado Department of Labor or In the Army as Colonel Jesse T Stacks III Field Artillery Brigade Commander in the Colorado Army National Guard.
Jesse had many accomplishments in this life including being accepted as a student at the prestigious Army War College in Carlisle PA where he spent a year attending classes with other students from around the world. During his time at the War College, he also attended Shippensburg University where he received his Masters Degree in Public Administration. His was a life well lived!
He will be greatly missed!
He has left a great legacy of love for his family.
A funeral service for Jesse will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2021 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Olinger Hampden Mortuary & Cemetery, 8600 East Hampden Ave, Denver, CO 80231. Following the funeral service will be a graveside service from 1:15 PM to 1:45 PM at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd., Denver, CO 80260.
Serving as pallbearers are Bryan David Stacks - Son , Kenneth Talmadge Stacks - Son , Kristopher Ryan Stacks - Son, Joshua C. Padgett - Grandson , Ayvan Reid Stacks -Grandson , David L. Padgett - Grandson and Ian Nicholas Stacks - Grandson .
