

Joanne (Carter) Greenlee was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She left this world on June 23, 2021 at age 90.
Her beloved parents, Clarence E. and Marie C. (Detty) Carter and sister Geraldine welcomed her into this world with her twin sister, Jeanne on July 16, 1930. She was the first born of twins in Windsor, Missouri.
Joanne graduated from Windsor High School in 1948. She married Denzil E. Neff shortly thereafter and moved to Colorado in 1949 with her husband, parents and sister. Together, they had 3 children: Clarence (Pete), Denzil (Denny) and Lola.
Joanne worked in several areas in retail and in banking until her retirement. Joanne later in life met her soul-mate, Gerald (Jerry) Hagan. They spend many happy years together until his death in December 2008. Her hobby was Bunka Embroidery. She made many beautiful pieces that she gifted to friends and family. She was the happiest when she was with family and friends and her dogs regardless of the activity. She also had a passion for traveling. She didn’t care where but loved new adventures. She was known for great sense of humor, her wit, her infectious smile and kind and loving spirit.
Joanne was preceded in death by her father, Clarence; her mother, Marie; her two sisters, Geraldine and Jeanne and her partner Jerry. Joanne is survived by her 3 children-Pete Neff (wife Venus) and Denny Neff (wife Beverly) and Lola Brin (husband Martin). Eight grandchildren-Daniel (wife Stefanie), April (husband Michael), Tracy (husband Craig), Cory, Jennifer (husband Josh), Chandra (husband Ryan), Michael and Mitchell. Eleven great grandchildren-Hannah, Madison, Isa, Celesse, Danarus, Victoria, Garrett, Abby, Stevie, Elliot and Teagan.
