John was born March 30th, 1937 in Conchas Dam, New Mexico to Joe and Erlinda Blea. He graduated from Raton High School in 1956. In 1956 John joined the Air Force in which he served and retired after 25 years. He also served as a Law Enforcement Officer for the city of Brighton, Colorado. His many activities that expressed his love of life were fishing, hunting, bowling, and especially dancing. And we all remember his love of traveling and visits in his RV’s. And the activity he loved most was helping all of us at one time or another fix our cars and anything else that needed fixing.
