June was born on June 4, 1935 in Edgewater, CO and spent most of her early childhood with her family and sister Mary in the mountains. When she married Ted they lived in Denver along with having a home in Greeley and their beautiful mountain home in St. Elmo, CO. The best and most joyous times of her life was spent with her family and friends at her cabin in St. Elmo
along with camping and traveling with her children to places like Chicago, Phoenix, San Diego, Oregon , and Thermopolis, WY. One of her favorite things to do was to have family and friends over and fixing the meal of the day depending on the time of day they would show up. At the cabin it was always breakfast where the smell of bacon, eggs, and pancakes would fill the
mountain air. There were always lots of laughter and lots of conversations at the table. Where has June gone? Nowhere and yet somewhere, she is here in the hearts and in the spirits of each and every one of you and in all the lives she has touched. She also is in the big cabin in heaven where she can rest, and visit us in our dreams and memories of her. How do we know that she has a home in heaven? We know because the Lord tells us that and we believe in him even though we are still here and she is there. He tells us that within his house are many cabins and that he goes before us to prepare a place for each of us. June did believe and knows first hand the truth of the Lord’s words. Did she die alone at the hospital in Greeley? By no means, she merely slipped her hand out of her physical body and into the spiritual body where her angels escorted her soul into the light and the presence of the inconceivable eternal love. There she was greeted by the Lord and the loved ones that have gone before her. June was a fighter dealing with diabetes that struck her down time and time again and she always fought back and there was always that soft, warm, smile that we all knew. It was not her time to go all of those times but this time he needed an Angel and he took her from us. Junes passing was not sad or lonely but was welcomed with open arms by the angels above. We all have guardian angels that are with us through all our joys, sorrows, disappointments, and pain and June now will be our guardian angel to lead us through all the trials and tribulations of our lives. She will be our strength and our support and we will know that even though she is not right beside us she will be with us in spirit. We must dwell on her final days but on all the days that she brought us laughter and joy and filled our hearts with love as we filled hers. She will never be forgotten, not now, not ever. We love you June, we love you Mom.
