Katherine B. Adams

She was the fifth of eight children born to Bennie Bean and Cecelia Ivory Hubbard.

She moved to Denver in 1952 with her family and two sons Bennie King and Gene Norvell (Ricky) King.

She later married Walter Lee Adams in 1964, and moved to Arizona with him and her youngest son Dwayne A. Mason.

Katherine was loved by all for her kind and gentle nature, wicked sense of humor and loving spirit.

She always had a flair for interior design and was an avid football and college basketball fan.

Upon her passing, Katherine was greeted by her parents, Bennie and Cecelia Bean, brothers Autry Bean, Wallace Bean, "Billy" George Bean and Elmer E. Bean. Sisters Mae Bertha King and Gladys Jones. Her beloved husband Walter Adams, sons Bennie King and Gene Norvell (Ricky) King.

Those left to hold on to her memories are her son Dwayne Mason, sister Velmer Morgan, Sherith Gilchrist, grandson Ahmad Gilchrist and great grandson ZiYon Ellis.

Sherry Swedenborg, granddaughter Lea Bean, great-grandsons Donovan and Cameron Martinez.

Granddaughter Carol Ann and her husband Kirk Cohen, great-granddaughters Whitney, Tiffany and Katrina Cohen, great-great-grandson Landon Cohen.

She also leaves many family and friends who will miss her.
