

Kathern Carrie “Kay” Wilson was born to Robert and Nora Main on November 11, 1923 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. She passed away on January 6th , 2022 (her mother’s birthday) at The Bridge at Greeley Assisted Living Community.
Kay’s family moved from Sapulpa, Oklahoma to Glenrock, Wyoming in 1933. She graduated from Glenrock-Parkerton high school in 1941. She attended one year at Colorado Women’s College in Denver, Colorado.
She married Woodrow Robert Wilson on May 21, 1948 at the First Christian Church in Casper. Bob preceded her in death in April 2013.
Kay and Bob moved to Fort Morgan, Colorado from Worland, Wyoming in 1971 and to the Denver area in 1974.
Kay had been involved in PEO, Assistance League of Denver and Alter Guild at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church Centennial, Colorado.
She enjoyed painting, bridge, sewing, needle point, reading and gardening, and most of all, her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by daughters Nancy (John) of Kalispell, Montana, Peggy (Jim) Harms of Greeley, Colorado and Carrie (Richard) Mountain of Denver, Colorado.
Beloved grandchildren are Stephannie (Ryan) Johnson of Castle Rock, Colorado, Courtney Harms (Chris Tenney) of Denver, Colorado, Allison (Ben) Whitney of Denver, Colorado, Carrie (Nick) Zawistoski of Louisville, Colorado, Christopher (Christine) Mountain of Downers Grove, Illinois, and Andrew (Kendell) Mountain of Dallas, Texas.
Twelve cherished great grandchildren are Ryleigh and Kyler Johnson, Theodore and Fiona Whitney, Logan and Zoey Zawistoski, Thomas, Jack and James Mountain and William, Annabelle and Mary Arden Mountain.
A service will be held at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church (8545 E. Dry Creek Rd, Centennial, CO 80112) Saturday January 29th at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Friends of the Colorado Talking Book Library (180 Sheridan Blvd Denver, CO 80226).
