It is now 2/11/15..sometimes it hits like a wave...why did you have to leave us so soon?
You were my Charge RN and took me under your wing when I got started at DH doing nights. You & Kevin, "like my brothas from another motha."
You always talked about your lovely daughters and family. It was your mission in this life to love them, guide them, make all of us laugh with your stories, and be able to provide for their every need & want..
A most awesome nurse, compassionate, always going above & beyond to do what it takes to make it a good night at work. 
I'm taking a class for my BSN now. I believe you know...This class is about death and dying for nurses and caring for folks facing the end of their mortal existence.. I never met anyone as good, funny and able to make a lovely family both at home and take care of your work family too. You always made our schedules come out so we were covered and had what we needed and wanted. When we last spoke you were positive and working hard, doing rehab/PT and planning on a full recovery.. What I wouldn't give to see you one more time, here one more story about your FAM and some jokes to keep the good medicine of laughter a plenty... I admit I have been angry over the undue stress and all that we all went through before we left, one by one, our work team marched on.. This world will never be the same without you Keith.. Watching your daughters dance and talk about their dad was so beautiful..You & Karen did a great job! What amazing young women they have and are becoming...You certainly affected many lives in your short time in this world! I hope from heaven you have seen the love and thoughts about your impact on all who knew and loved you...I'm sure you heard welcome home, well done my son when you arrived..Flippity flopping at heaven's gate I'm sure heaven, already amazing, became a much more fun place to be when you arrived...See you topside my friend..Praying always and sending warm & healing thoughts to your family...Peace & love, Theresa

To say that Keith will be missed may be the biggest understatement ever written.  He had such a way about him that truly touched people.  The sense of humor and upbeat attitude  he displayed made Keith such an inspiration to all who knew him.  After meeting his family this week it is clear to me that Keith was raised in Love and therefore he exuded Love in everything that he did and it shines through in his 3 Beautiful Daughters.  Katelyn, Taylor and Bailey..you are amazing young women! Your Father will live on forever in you girls and I know that he was looking down on you today with a heart full of love and pride.  I would be hard pressed to choose a favorite memory of Keith because every minute with him was a gift.  He made me smile when my life seemed so low and he would take me from tears of sadness to tears of laughter in a matter of minutes.  How fortunate we all are to have had him in our lives.  My heartfelt sympathy to Mama Berryhill, Michael, Karen, Bailey, Taylor and Katelyn, you all are in my heart and prayers.  God Bless You All

I remember Keith when he was friends with my brother Charlie in high school.  They lived to drive me crazy I believed.  I remember when the two of them toilet papered my entire bedroom and turned all the posters over and rehung them on the walls.  Drives to McDonalds would always include Keith asking to talk to Ronald.  When I turned 21, the two of them even planned my surprise party in the McD's caboose.  He was like another brother.  
The world will miss you Keith.  Keep dad entertained in Heaven.  Prayers to your mom, wife and girls.  Love ya.

He was full of life, joking, teasing, playing practical jokes. 
He loved to go do things, hiking, going for drives, going to the movies, HE LOVED going to the movies, he loved adventure!
He always opened doors for women, even  his friends.
He wore flip flops and shorts even in the middle of snowing! 
He was sappy and loved sappy chic flicks!
Some of his favorite movies were Rudy, Friday Night Lights, Can't buy me Love.
He loved the STEELERS and Oklahoma! Don't talk to him during those games lol!
He always saw the good in everyone and the bright side of everything. 
He liked to go walking in the rain. 
He was kind and caring.
He loved to laugh.
He was an excellent nurse!
He had great values and morals. 
He LOVED GOD!
He was responsible.
Respectful.
He wanted the boys his girls dated to ask him permission to date them or marry them. He wanted them to pay for everything, be gentlemen, respectful and to open all of their doors. He was this kind of man and expected it for his girls.
He knew every song, the name who sang it, when it came out and yes usually all of the words.
He liked all sorts of music.
He loved concerts.
He had an awesome voice! Was always singing, clapping, dancing.
He knew tons of useless trivia. 
He was the only man I knew who would go for a pedicure with the girls. 
He is loved by all who knew him.
If he called you (provided you are a girl) These are the two greeting you would hear.... "What's shakin' sista?" or "Hola chica what's happening"
He LOVED coca cola slurpees from 7-11!
He was the best friend anyone could ask for...
I could go on and on.....

I will miss you until we meet again! I love you! My prayers are with your girls and family.

My sincere condolences on the loss of husband, father, son, and brother.  Keith was a great friend.  I had know him since Jr. High and although we had lost touch it was awesome to reconnect. I loved hearing about his three beautiful daughters and that was something we had in common.  We would laugh, giggle and share our the joys and antics of our daughters.  Girls, he loved you with all he was.  He was so proud of each one of you!  My prayer is that you find peace in the moths to come and that you see your amazing dad in everything.  Keith left us way to soon but he will not be forgotten!  God Bless

When you got to work and Keith was on, you knew it was going to be a good day. One of the most happy go lucky people I've ever known. Smile with the angels my friend.

Keith was such a free spirit! Loved to laugh, never stressed and had a huge heart for his patients. Keep an eye on things up there Keith, youre forever in my heart.

I will carry you in my heart until my heart takes its last beat and then I will see you again.... May God give all who love you especially your family the strength to carry on. I love you my friend and miss you terribly.

Keith was the greatest friend in my life. His humor his smile and his love will forever be in my heart. May God wrap you all in his arms and comfort you in this time of sorrow.

Keith was my friend & confidante. We knew each other since the early 1980s but lost touch for a while. After we got back in contact with each other a few years ago, we had many interesting quirky conversations about the ups & downs of life. He would check on me often (usually a "How ya doin, darlin?" text) & he'd send me random jokes or funny questions, just to try to make me smile. He hated it when I worried about him, but he always wanted to make sure I was doing ok. He adored his daughters & always had a humorous way of seeing things as they grew up. He was so proud of them. My heart breaks for them because they are too young to lose their Dad; but they are strong & independent & he lives on in them.  He was like my big brother, even though I hadn't seen him since we were kids. Keith had a good heart & a great sense of humor. He was a good listener & friend, & I really miss him. Hopefully sometime soon I will stop picking up my phone to text him. I have locked his texts on my phone so that it feels like he is still around.

 I miss you, darlin'... you left us too soon.

Keith was such a great friend!  He could always make you smile, even on your worst days!  He had a fantastic sense of humor and a love for life!  I will greatly miss you my friend!

Keith was absolutely the funniest man I have ever known. He was so quick with humorous replies. I could always count on him to make me feel better in any circumstance. Keith was my very best friend over these past 6+ years and I can't believe he is now among angels. At least I know even the angels will be happier now with his quick sense of humor and always positive attitude. I love you now and forever my dear friend! I will miss you always! Your daughters will have the best guardian angel ever!

So crushed at the death of my friend.  Having moved back to Las Cruces between my sophomore and junior year of high school, it was a great thing to make friends with Keith.  I was so fortunate that the friendship lasted for all these years.  I pray for his mom and girls.
