

Kenneth C. Warrior passed away December 15 after battling lung cancer. He was born in Afton, Iowa, to Fred and Clarice (Cowles) Warrior. He is survived by his wife Mary Jane, sons Kevin (Hsienman), Kirk, Karl (Terri), Kyle (Darla), daughter Karen; eight grandchildren and 11 great children, sisters Carol Amos Smith, Marilyn (Bill) Kelley, brother-in-law Roland Peterson, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Janice Peterson. He and Mary Jane were married June 6, 1959, in Ellicottville, New York, and remarried September 7, 2003, in Denver, Colorado. He enlisted in the Navy April 2, 1957, and retired October 15, 1976, to Miles City, Montana, where he went to work for Future Homes and managed the VFW bar. He then moved to Wolf Point, Montana, working for Western Gaming and also managed the VFW there. He was a life member of the VFW, and also belonged to American Legion, TRA, and Naval Fleet Reserve Assn. After moving to Colorado in 2004, he enjoyed camping with the family, fishing with his daughter-in-law, Hsienman, and worked crossword puzzles every day. Memorial and interment will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Friday, June 5, 2015 at 1:30pm, Comittal Pavillion.
