Kyle Ethan Clapp was born August 20, 1975 in Renton, Washington to David and Carolyn Clapp. Baby brother, Kyle was the delight of his older sister, Stephanie. Nineteen months later, a brother, Jason, completed the family.
Kyle loved to be read to as a little boy, loved riding his bike with his brother, playing Legos and playing basketball.
Kyle attended Seattle Christian Schools K-12 and graduated from Dordt College in 1998. He married Angela Van Gelder that year, but divorced in 2008. From that union came Kyle’s pride and joy, Aliya Marie.
Kyle enjoyed a successful career with several investment companies, most recently with Prudential. Although distance separated the family, when we were privileged to be together, family times were kept lively by the sense of humor of Kyle and his siblings. We thank God for the years we had our much loved son with us. Kyle will be deeply missed by his daughter Aliya, his parents siblings, nieces, nephews and many friends.
