Lalo was an exceptional rodeo champion, and it was his passion. He started riding horses before he could walk, and was revered by many as someone who could train any horse. The rodeo wasn't his only passion and love; his wife, Mayra, was also an intricate part of his life. She survives him.
Lalo will be remembered as having an incredible knack for telling stories. He was wise beyond his years, and many adults looked to him for guidance. That was likely because he weathered pretty much any storm with his unique problem solving abilities and a happy, calm disposition. He was an accomplished equestrian, and will be greatly missed.
Lalo is survived by his wife, Mayra and their unborn child. He was very excited to be a dad. He is also survived by his parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and many, many friends.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 from 5-7PM at Olinger Hampden Mortuary. Recitation of the Holy Rosary follows his visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at 10am at Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Aurora. Lalo will make a short stop at the rodeo he was competing in, in Hudson, Colorado before being laid to rest at Olinger Eastlawn Cemetery in Aurora, Colorado.
Arrangements under the direction of Olinger Hampden Mortuary & Cemetery, Denver, CO.
