

Lawrence Beierle known as (Larry) was a very fun loving unique individual who loved his family with all his heart, and they were the most important thing to him.
He was born in Brighton CO. and has 3 surviving sisters Eva Koehler, Amelia Snyder, Darlene Newell, 2 surviving brothers Albert Beierle, Jack Beierle, a deceased brother Ben Beierle Jr. and deceased sister Mary Ells.
When Lawrence was two years old his parents Lydia and Ben Beierle inherited a house in Brighton CO. It burned down and left them penny less. They were so broke they were forced to move to Barr Lake during the depression time. With the 7 siblings they were forced to survive by growing their own vegetables, hunting and fishing off the land.
Larry was only 13 years old when his parents started a bakery business called the Beierle Bakery in Denver CO. The whole family worked in the bakery. When Larry was 21 years old he joined the armed forces and fought in the Korean War.
He married Glennis in 1953 and was married to her for 56 years. He worked as welder at Colorado Builders until the early 70’s. Larry had two surviving daughters Sherry, Lori and a Granddaughter Candice.
Larry’s favorite hobby was garage sales, buying and selling he was a natural salesperson. Larry could make 10 cents into 10 dollars. He loved people and conversation he wore a cowboy hat with a rattle snake on top. He was also known as snake man by some people. He loved that hat because it would start up conversation whether it was to preach the bible or just general conversation.
Larry started his own business in the late 70’s called Larry’s thrift store and was able to buy his own arcade business. He turned the arcade business into investing in property and real estate for his retirement. He was just a natural business man and entrepreneur.
A favorite hobby was gardening of beautiful roses, and other flowers. He loved them everywhere in his home.
Larry was a Christian and believed in his faith his relationship with God was very important to him. He loved talking to you about the Bible and Religion.
He had such a zest for life a very strong will to live. The last 3 months of his life he became very ill and struggled to live, he found great comfort with his family by his side. Then God saw him getting tired, so he put his arms around him and whispered come with me.
We will miss him dearly as he told us don’t cry for me I’ll be in Gods hands someday and we will meet again.
