Preceded in death, her parents: Father Ken McEwen, her Mother Marjorie Eileen Lawson and her Brother, John F. Lawson. No children in this union although, their lives were very full and rich with family, friends galore and the unconditional love for their fur babies.
Most of us called Marjorie, Eileen as she had the same name as our Mother and it stuck. Eileen grew up in Colorado and met the LOVE of her life shortly after she graduated high school and she married, Cliff Overly. Their lives together took them many places throughout the years. Hawaii was a favorite frequent fun destination for them and sometimes friends joined them there. Eileen and Cliff loved to travel everywhere which brought them many many friends for a lifetime. Eileen and Cliff resided in Colorado mostly, however; they became Snowbirds and lived in Mesa Arizona when the frigid Colorado winters came.
Eileen worked several years as a secretary at Denver Hospital as well as, several years at Russel Stovers Chocolate factory. So, needless say, every Christmas or birthdays or special occasions, our mother was gifted a huge box of chocolates from Eileen. We couldn't wait to have these yummy chocolate treats.
Eileen very much enjoyed her ceramics, Puzzles and card games, boating, camping but Mostly, Eileen shined for others to feel loved and just so comfy with her beautiful smile and genuine laughter.
Eileen will be missed, loved and remembered by many remaining family members and friends. As always said to my sister, not goodbye, but see you later.
Your recent struggles in life Eileen, now forgotten as you are greeted into the Lords kingdom rejoined with your great Love, Cliff and loved ones in the heavens. Forever in our hearts.
