In loving memory of the one and only and our hero Nathan Paul Martinez, at 49 years young he went peacefully to be with his lord and savior Tuesday morning February 26, 2013. He was a mentor to many and a loving example to his family, friends, and colleagues.
He was born on October 19, 1963 to Genevieve Gonzales and Nat Martinez in Denver Colorado. He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years Nanette Martinez, his sons Jonathan and Nathan Jr., his daughters Janelle, Jessica, and Chantal, his grandsons Jacob, Josiah, Jonathan, Franky Jr., Nathan Jr. and Jordan, and his granddaughters Nevaeh and Audrina. His 8 grandbabies were honored daily with his knowledge, love, and affection. He made his journey to heaven with Nanette his wife, and his 5 children by his side.
President and Founder of NM Industrial Services, he was a true leader, very ambitious and determined to create a foundation for his family, which is now his legacy. Nathan worked hard to establish his business even until his last days. Nathan was a great mentor and teacher and always wanted to share his passion with other people. He loved his occupation and cared deeply for his colleagues just as they were family. He started his business in March of 2004, and as it began to become established, he eventually brought all of his 5 children to work. He was able to develop an infrastructure, with his children as the core, to continue on upon his absence. Nathan made sure his children understood the true value of hard work and willpower. He installed in them a life time of knowledge that will now live on in all of them.
Nathan enjoyed spending time with his family, playing with his grandkids and loved to golf, fish, travel, ride his motorcycle, and gamble. The one thing he loved most was to spend time with his best friend, soul mate, his other half, and the love of his life: His Wife.
Nathan was very approachable and always willing to help anybody out in any way he could. Everyone loved and respected him. He had a strong energy about him that was like a magnet to everyone he met. He always made a strong impression on everyone he met. He enriched all of our lives.
Nathan lived a very short but yet fulfilled life. Nathan will never be forgotten and everyone will always carry him in their hearts forever until we reunite with him again in heaven. We all loved him dearly and we all wished we could have made him stay but God broke our hearts that morning for a reason to prove to us that he only takes the best.
