

On December 4, 1944 she married Clinton Thomas. To this union five children were born.; Jeri, Carolin, Clayton, Leonard and Marian. In 1948 they moved to Denver, Colorado. They were married for 55 years until his death.
Oneida began her work as a housekeeper, until she was hired by Swedish Hospital as a surgical setup and equipment preparer. While working as a part time housekeeper she retired from Swedish Hospital in 1988 after 20 years. Oneida continued to work as a part time housekeeper for 58 years until she retired in 2009.
She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses where she diligently worked and served in her congregation.
Oneida was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton Thomas and grandson, David Thomas..
Oneida leaves to cherish her memory, her five children; Jeri Holmes (Kenny), Carolin White (Nick), Clayton Thomas, (Judy), Leonard Thomas and Marian Robinson; 16 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; one brother, Johnnie Simmons (Mackie), and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
