Orville D. Johnson, 85, of Denver, Colorado, passed away September 22, 2013.
He was born in Denver, Colorado on June 21, 1928. Orville was a graduate of Denver East High School.
He was married to Loretta Johnson.
Orville D. Johnson had a career as a Special Delivery Messenger for the United States Postal Service.
He was a Life Member and President of the VFW and a Scout Master. He’s a Veteran of the Merchant Marines in WWII, and a Veteran of the US Army during the Korean War. Orville was awarded the Silver Star, Bronze Star and the Combat Medical Badge.
Orville is survived by his son, Alan Johnson of Aurora, Colorado.
Funeral Services will be held 10:00AM Tuesday, October 1st at Holy Trinity Catholic Church; 7595 Federal Blvd, Westminster, Colorado 80030. Interment at Mount Olivet Cemetery; 12801 West 44th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, Colorado 80033.

We will miss seeing and talking to him.
Alan your dad gave me a talking watch when I no longer could see my ouwn watch. He said he got it as a free gift when he ordered something and he let me listen to his stories. He was a gifted writer, Your friens from the Front Range Senior Citizen
