Paul was born on November 28, 1923 in Lincoln, NE to Curtis and Emma Mahaffey. He was married to Lucille Norris for 62 years before she passed away in 2013. He is survived by two daughters, LouAnne Mueri of Seward, NE and Carol Sue Pollock of Centennial, CO and respective husbands, Michael Mueri and Jim Pollock. He also has six grandchildren and four great-grandkids. He attended the University of NE and received his bachelor’s degree. He served in World War II in the Army stationed in England and France. He retired after working for General Motors for thirty-three years. Born a Nebraskan, he remained a loyal UN football fan throughout his life. His priority in life can easily be explained in one word, “family.” A celebration of Paul’s life will be held at 12:00pm Friday, September 25, 2015 at Parker Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 9030 Miller Rd., Parker, CO.
