Raymond was born and raised in Denver, Colorado and he attended Sacred Heart Elementary and Middle School, Mullen High School and graduated from Annunciation High School. After high school he joined the U.S. Navy where he served in the Korean War.
Raymond will be remembered for his shades and hats a trademark in his wardrobe. He is also well known for the deep love of his friends and family, but especially his wife Irene, their five children and 12 grandchildren.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Irene and children, Charles Olguin (Aziza), Aurita Apodaca (Ron), Dude Olguin (Brandina), Elvira Olguin (Jerry) and Bonnie Rae Olguin.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents Ben and Sally Olguin, four brothers, Benny, Dave, Joe and Bonny, and three sisters, Thelma Jean, Gertrude and Eleanor. He is survived by his oldest sister Sarah Gallegos.
He also had children in California. Sally Ann, Joe “JoJo”, Ramona “Mona”, Ronnie and Anthony “Tiger” as well as 15 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
