I remember when my parents were a part of the church's Cathedral choir in the early 1990s. Brother Roy Johnson sang bass and would sit near the back. During their rehearsals my sisters and I would be instructed to sit quietly in the back. Brother Johnson however would make it nearly impossible for us to be quiet as he would turn around and make the funniest faces at us. We couldn't help but to burst out laughing. As soon as my parents turned around  to scold us Brother Johnson would look straight ahead so not to bring suspicion to what he was doing. I don't know how many times he got us in trouble but he definitely made the choir practices fun.
I'm blessed to have watched his life throughout the years. My condolences to his wife, children, family and all his loved ones. We're lifting you all up in prayer.

To the family of brother Roy Johnson, I pray that God comfort you in this time of grief. Let these word in 1 Thessalonian 4:13-17 comfort you in the name of our lord Jesus christ 🙏. 

"13 But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, gthat you may not grieve as others do hwho have no hope. 14 For isince we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him jthose who have fallen asleep. 15 For this we declare to you kby a word from the Lord,1 that lwe who are alive, who are left until mthe coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For nthe Lord himself will descend ofrom heaven pwith a cry of command, with the voice of qan archangel, and rwith the sound of the trumpet of God. And sthe dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive, who are left, will be tcaught up together with them uin the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so vwe will always be with the Lord.
