Sharon (Chitwood) Cozart went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 15, 2012. She is survived by her devoted husband Gene, loving daughter Breanna Cozart, and dear mother Hope Chitwood. Sharon was preceded in death by her father, Vernon Chitwood and sister, Frances Chitwood. Sharon was born on June 23, 1954. Throughout her life, Sharon lived for her faith and her family. Sharon married Gene Cozart on November 16, 1985 and they were blessed to become parents on June 2, 1988. She enjoyed her role as wife and mother for many years in Littleton, CO and most recently in Athens, Alabama. Sharon will be missed by her large extended family as well as numerous friends. A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 22 from noon to 4pm. The funeral service will be on Monday, April 23, 2012 - 10am @ Olinger Hampden Mortuary, 8600 E. Hampden Avenue, Denver, CO 80231. Donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
