Susin I. Krebs

Susie Irene Garland was born on April 10, 1928 to John Wesley and Mary Whitehorn Garland, in Erwin, Tennessee. She was the youngest of 6 children. She entered Eternity June 21, 2012 in Denver, Colorado. She was 84 years old.

She is survived by her three sons: Kirk ( Ann), Clay ( Marie) and Jay (Cindi). Also survived by nine grandchildren; Karissa, Gwendalyn, Seth, Abel, Andrew, Bethany (spouse Camden Farmer), Ben, Cole and Jared as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.

Though her birth certificate says she was born on April 10th, she always celebrated her birthday on the 3rd of April. (Maybe it took a week to produce a birth certificate in the Smoky Mountains back in 1928?)

Interestingly, Susin died on what would have been her 54th wedding anniversary. She and Tom Krebs were married June 21, 1958. Tom passed away 24 years ago on November 2, 1988.
