Theresa is survived by her husband, Raymond Stanton; their children, James Montiel, Patricia Stanton, and Richard Stanton; Brothers, Rudy Hiers and Richard Hiers; Daughters-in-laws, Heather Montiel and Erica Wigington, as well as a son-in-law, Sal; and two grandchildren, Leila and Salvatore. Toby was pre-deceased by her parents, Charles and Maureen Hiers as well as a brother, Charlie Hiers.
Toby was born in Aiken, SC on December 28, 1954 to Charles and Maureen Hiers. She graduated from North Hollywood High School in 1972. She met her husband Raymond in Spring 1981 and married July 4, 1987 at the Little White Chapel in Las Vegas.
Toby took great joy in cooking and hosting guests at her home. She was an avid movie lover and reader. Ray and Toby loved spending time at their cabin in Park County CO.
Services will be held at Olingers Hampden at 8600 E. Hampden Ave, Denver, CO 80231 on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 10:00am. A small reception will be held in Aurora at the Stanton family home following the services.
