Walter was a man who effortlessly wobe himself into the fabric of our lives, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and enduring friendship. Introduced to me by his wife years ago, he quickly became a staple of our family meetings, holidays and parties, proving to be the most wonderful companion.
His helpful nature was legendary; I remember our vacation to Riviera Maya where Walter was always the first to walk the sand and collect everything we'd left behind. We used to joke that he was a bit too thorough, as he'd somehow always return with extra slippers or a stray towel that didn't even belong to us.
Beyond the jokes, he was a pillar of support. I fondly remember our "trading days" when our sons were small - he would watch the kids on Fridays and I would take Mondays. I can still vividly see him standing in his doorway, refusing to let me leave until I had a cup of tea and a cookie. He would tell stories that kept me laughing long after I left. The fact that our sons are still best friends as adults is a beautiful testament to the family environment Walter helped create. He was a great, funny guy who will be deeply missed.

Wlodziu,
You taught me that friendship isn't in big gestures but in small, everyday kindness. You always had the ability to make anyone smile. Your smile and laughter echoes in my heart. I will miss you deeply.
Rest in peace dear friend.

When I think of Włodek, I see a peaceful, always pleasant man with a friendly smile.
We all loved and still love him. Always welcoming all of his friends with open arms and an open heart. Cracking jokes you cannot resist and then laughing out loud with him. Quiet poker player at our Polish friendly gatherings, however all of the sudden playing hundred dollar chips and taking the hand of a winner. Never skipping a good dessert and passionate about his gardening.
Definitely one in a million!
He will forever stay in our hearts and memories.
Also, I’m more than sure that we will continue quoting him to feel his presence.
Forever in our thoughts.
