You will definitely be missed. Many memories of reunions in Estes Park. As my mom best put it, we were so lucky to have you as part of our family. I just regret we were not able to play more golf together. However, memories last forever!!

Grandpa,
I do not know that I will ever be able to express how much you mean to me. Your unending love and support lifted me through some of my darkest days. I am so thankful Billy and Trinity were able to have you in their lives for as long as they did. Your memory, love and laughter will remain forever in our hearts. Say hi to my parents for me! Until we meet again...
We love you!!

Where does one start to express the joy and pleasure of knowing this man. Through Walt's extended family I had the luxury of being teased, taunted and I believe accepted by this man as a friend . Bronco games, weddings, golf; memories I have that can never be taken away. God bless you sir, thank you for your service for our country and making me laugh. You were the real deal. Heaven just got a lot brighter. A new star in the sky forever.

It has been so many years since I had seen Walt. I know this is a sad day for everyone who knew him. In my memories he was a quiet man,He was very well liked and respected. I am so sad for his children and the families. I thank Patti ,Shannon and Shawn and Erin, for sharing all the pictures and letting me know about him. It was a very exciting happy day when we first connected. Now my heart is heavy God Bless all of you You were certainly a blessing to him.

I remember the times I would go to his and your moms’ home and always, always made me feel so comfortable and make sure I ate and drank, as long as I was content. No matter where or how long it had been before seeing Wally; he always gave me his wonderful smile and a happy hug. I must say it was quite a surprise of his passing and saddens my heart so. Wally will certainly be missed and loved by so, so many.........God Bless, my friend...........Trish.

Grandpa,

To the most loving, kind, and giving person (except for the head cheese you fed me as a child)... you loved all of us so unconditionally even though we weren't all blood. Thanks for being there for me always! You will be greatly missed. Love you very much!

Walt; you were a wonderful person and the perfect neighbor. I was lucky to grow up across the street from all of you. My favorite memory was somewhat recent. Patty wasn't sure if you'd remember me...it had been a long time...but I walked in and you smiled and said " Well; hello Terri"... That warmed my heart! You had a smile for everyone. You will be missed but you left so much love and kindness with all of us... Love you Walt!
