Mr. Vette, a longtime resident of Aurora, Colorado, passed away December 23, 2012. He was born in Denver, Colorado on August 6, 1934. He went to West High School and married his high school sweetheart, Norma. They were married 61 years. He joined the Marine Corp.
William loved hunting, fishing, ham radio and all the outdoor. His hobbies included wood working, leather tooling, drawing and the Denver Broncos. He was one of their first fans, even tooled a leather belt for Red Miller. He retired as an aerospace inspector and was the secretary/treasurer of the local Union. Until the end, he participated in as many Union functions as possible.
He leaves behind his wife, four children, seven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Donations can be made in his memory to The Denver Hospice. A private service will be held at Ft. Logan National Cemetery in 2013.
