Wolcott F. Rice, a proud husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, whose delight in family history, photography and playing bridge, passed away peacefully at The Denver Hospice Center in Denver, Colorado.
Wolcott was born February 15, 1930 to Gordon and Merle Rice in Denver, CO. He met Gwendolyn (Wendy) L. Goad in high school, married her March 10, 1951 and enjoyed a marriage of unparalleled love and laughter that lasted 60 years, until her passing on March 9, 2011. He and his wife (Gwendolyn) operated a successful accounting and tax service. They also spent time doing investments and stock advice. Wolcott, while working, attended The University of Denver and received his Master's in Accounting. He also passed the exam for his CPA.
Together they had 4 children, Robert (Mary Sue), John (Kathleen), Cheryl Dial (Drew Sesser) and Frank along with 10 grandchildren, Adrienne, Sarah, Grace, Marie, William, Aundra, David, Hannah, Tally and Nichole, and 3 great grandchildren, Sloane, Madison, Cora.
