Arthur A. Pinzke of Des Plaines Arthur A. Pinzke, 95, was the loving husband of the late Ann Pinzke (nee Gamperl); devoted father of Linda (Stuart Sr.) Kriegermeier, Patricia "Penny"(the late Howard) Hughes and the late Kenneth Pinzke; dear grandfather of Cameron (Dana) Pinzke, Katie Koester, Stuart Kriegermeier Jr., Dr.Alyssa Kriegermeier, Michael Kriegermeier, Megan (David) Moody and Erika (Edgar) Roman; and fond great-grandfather of Olivia, Paige, Ryland, Colten, Kellen and Johnathon. Arthur was in the Army Air Corps as a B17 pilot in England. He was shot down on his 13th mission and spent 14 months in a P.O.W. camp in Stalag 1 in Germany. Visitation will be on Saturday, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St. (Northwest Highway/Route 14 at Rand Road), Des Plaines. Interment will be private.
