Born April 26, 1921, in Chicago, he died Monday, May 17, 2010, in Park Ridge. Mr. Rieck was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was employed as an electrician. Arthur was the beloved husband of Valerie (nee Jarzab) for 66 years; dear father of Thomas (Penelope) Rieck, Terrance (Donna) Rieck, Barbara (James) Binninger, Kathy (Brian) Cardott and Christine (Patrick) Durkin; loving grandfather of Yale (Adrianne) Rieck, Charity Rieck, Robin Rieck, Adam (Maureen) Rieck, Jennifer Binninger, Kevin Binninger, Lauren Cardott (Kristian) Rowsam, Evan Cardott and Cameron Durkin; and cherished great-grandfather of Collin, Madelyn, Erin and Nora. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary Church, Des Plaines.
