Carole was the beloved wife of Richard Bonarek, loving mother to Jennifer and Stephanie, and a dear aunt to many nieces and nephews. In fact she was proud to admit she was a great, great, great aunt if asked.
While she started to forget some things, she never forgot her great friends from high school, her love of anything related to her Irish heritage, how she enjoyed a good cup of tea along with a danish, or her ability to get chatty and make friends with strangers anywhere.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 from 2 – 7pm at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St., Des Plaines. Internment will be at a later date at Mt. Olivet Cemetary. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org.
