Charles C Everett

Funeral services for Mr. Charles C. Everett, 83, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 12, at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St. (Northwest Highway/Route 14 at Rand Road), Des Plaines. Interment will be in Mount Emblem Cemetery, Elmhurst. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 11, at the funeral home. Born July 21, 1927, in Chicago, he died Monday, Nov. 8, 2010, at his residence. Mr. Everett was a veteran, having served in the Army. He was a member of the Medinah Shriners, a Mason and member of R.O.J. Court 48. He was the president of the Prospect Heights Library Board. Charles was the husband of Ruth L. (nee McCurdy); father of Randall (Deborah) Everett, Cheryl (Alan) Stezskal, and the late Gary (Susan) Everett; grandfather of Justin and Taryn Everett, Brittany and Blake Stezskal, Kendra (Eric) Moldenhauer and Shannon (Josef) Schroeder; and great-grandfather of Jensen and Bryce Schroeder and Trace Moldenhauer. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Christ Church United Church of Christ or the Shriner Hospital for Children.
