Chun C. Kim

Chun C. Kim, 82 of Niles was born on February 19, 1939 in Japan to the late Su Seok and Soon Rye Yu and passed away on August 11, 2021. Chun was the loving wife of Hok B. Kim for 45 years; loving mother of Hee Kyung (Chan Woong) Choi, Mikyung (Sang Ho) Lee, and Yu Jung (Ji Bong) Kim; cherished grandmother of Sun Hee Choi, Kevin Choi, Brian Lee, Christine Lee, and Grace Kim; loving sister to Do Nam, Yeon Ju, Sujin, and Chun Hee Yu.

She was a warm, caring, supportive, and loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She has been a huge part of her children's life and her sacrificial love for them was evident in all aspects of her life. She always put others before herself and shared generously with everyone. She taught all her children what is really important in life - to love, support, and care for friends and family.

The funeral service will be on Saturday August 14, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner Street, Des Plaines, IL 60016, followed by internment at Ridgewood Cemetery, 9900 N. Milwaukee, Des Plaines, IL 60016.
