Concetta T. Hoffman, age 92, died peacefully on May 13, 2020 due to natural causes. She was born on May 9, 1928 in Chicago to the proud parents Charles Joseph and Elizabeth Frances (Welliver) Arrigo. She spent her childhood in Strawn, IL finally settling down and raising her family in Des Plaines, IL. Married on June 25, 1949, to Vernell George Jacks who proceeded her death on July 22,1988. Connie loved and was dedicated to her family and Catholic faith. And whether it be quilting, hand stitching, cooking, baking or being with friends, she was moving at all times. This spunky little lady loved to dance and would bust out the moves whenever the music would start. She may have lost her memory over the years but she sure didn’t lose her dance moves. She was quite the hit at The Reserve in Arlington Heights, IL where she spent her last years.
She is survived by 7 out of her 9 children. Verna L. (Daniel) Pfahl, Larry A. Jacks (deceased), Karen A. (Robert) Emmett (deceased), Allen J. (Robin) Jacks, Mary E. (Chester) Bazan, Concetta T. (Donald) Kellough, Virginia M. (Steven) Spiegel, Andrew J. (Denise) Jacks, Susan M. (Nicholas) Stahl. Grandmother of 22 and great grandmother of 21 with 2 on the way. Surviving sister Mary De la Pava. Cherished by many more!
We would be honored for any donations made to the Alzheimer’s Association in her name.
