Cristoforo Cammarata

Cristoforo “Chris” Cammarata, 81, of Niles was born March 22, 1942 in San Vito Lo Capo, Sicily to the late Pietro and Rosaria (nee Pace) Cammarata and passed away on May 25, 2023. Chris was the beloved husband of Maria (nee Pastorelli); loving father of Rosaria “Rose” (married to Robert Barr) and Annunziata “Nancy”; cherished grandfather of Isabella Marianna Barr and Robert Christopher J. Barr; dear brother of Maria Teresa, Josephine, Melchiorre “Gino” and the late Bartolomeo and fond uncle and great-uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 30, 2023 from 3-8pm at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St, Des Plaines. Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at 10am at Mary, Seat of Wisdom Church, 920 Granville Ave, Park Ridge. Entombment will be at All Saints Cemetery following the mass. Donations may be made in honor of Chris to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
