It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Danny Vlaovic, born October 13, 1967 in Serbia, while living most of his life in the Chicago area.

His lasting impression will be how he made his time with us more fun. He loved to go fishing with family and friends. Other passions were jamming on his electric guitars and playing soccer with his buddies at Green White Soccer Club. Danny will be lovingly remembered by his wife Christine, and his children, Tori, Kevin, Scott, and Alex. Danny will also be fondly remembered by his father, Gruja, his mom Nada (pre deceased), and brother Gordon.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will take place on Friday, June 8, 2018 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Oehler Funeral Home 2099 Miner St. Des Plaines, 60016. Interment private.

Danny helped make our visits to Chicago to see Stuart fantastic. He took us under his wing and called us family. At Green and White festival days he was a good passionate player to watch. I have photos of him there and with my very young middle son at Arlington Heights racing.
He took us fishing, bbq’d steaks (from his uncle) for us, .partied at Stuart’s stag night and joined us at Stuart’s wedding . Amazingly he let me drive his Porsche one time although he was a nervous wreck during that 10 minutes.
His star burned brightly and he shared his light with us when we visited. I have wonderful memories of his kindness and his naughtiness and the way he included us in everything while treating us like family.
My heart goes out to those he has left behind. The world will be a sadder place without him. Wilma xx
