David W. Horning, 47 of Park Ridge. David was the loving husband of Patricia nee Bucaro Horning; devoted dad of Marissa and Nicolas Horning; caring son of Edward (Jacque) Horning and the late Carol Horning (George) Sherwood; dear brother of Laura (Darby) Duryea, Betsy (Jeffrey) Sartori, Paul (Suzanne) Horning and James (Tanya) Horning and fond uncle to many nieces and nephews. Memorial visitation will be Friday, January 30, 2015 from 3-9 PM at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St., Des Plaines (corner of Northwest Hwy. / Rt. 14 and Rand Rd.). Family and friends will be gathering Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 10 AM at St. Paul of the Cross Church, 320 Washington St., Park Ridge for a memorial mass. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Marissa and Nicolas Educational Fund. Envelopes will be provided at funeral home during visitation hours, or donations that are mailed to funeral home will be forwarded to family.
