My Friend Dave, Mr USO, received the Navy Graduates at O’Hare Airport. He received Them as if They were His Grandchildren. He Praised Them for Their Accomplishments. This was repeated Weekend after Weekend, it was Done with Heart and Passion. Just like A Proud Grandparent.  Rest Easy My Friend, You Will Not Be Forgotten By The People You Touched

My condolences to Dave and family. Had known Dave and worked with him for many years. A very happy friendly person and all around a great patriotic veteran. I salute you my friend and may you Rest In Peace.

Our condolences to his family and friends. He'll truly be missed dearly. Me and my husband got to meet him 17 years ago . Uncle Dave became family to us and our kids knew him as Tio Dave to them. We send prayers to his family and friends. We will Miss you Uncle Dave!! Fly High with our Lord savior!!

Dave demonstrated a true and genuine example of someone who was selfless in service to others without ever expecting anything in return. His absence leaves a big whole in the lives of all those he touched.  Bravo Zulu, Dave....Well Done.

We were neighbors about 30 years.  When we first met Dave, he was caring for his father.
Volunteering for the USO was his passion.  Dave supported many new recruits to Great Lakes.  He deservedly received a Presidential award for his dedication.

Dave was Mr USO to the Navy Boot Camp Graduates.  He is missed by all who knew and worked with him.  Rest in Peace my friend.
