Delight "Dee" H. LeBel

Delight H, "Dee" LeBel, 84, of Rosemont, passed away October 22, 2024. Beloved wife of the late James C, "Jim" LeBel for 57 years, cherished mother of Sandra LeBel (Kim Miller), loving sister of twin Karen O'Malley (late James), loving sister of late LaVergne Jenkner (late Matthew), fond Aunt to many.

Dee was a compassionate Registered Nurse with grace, who seemed to have superhuman strength. She would drop everything to help a friend, a neighbor, or a stranger in need. She dedicated over four decades of her Nursing and Executive career to abused, neglected and abandoned children.

A visitation for Delight will be held Friday, November 1, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner Street, Des Plaines, IL. A committal service will take place Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at All Saints Cemetery, 700 N. River Rd., Des Plaines, IL. A luncheon will follow Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, at the funeral home.
